Am I able to replace the disc on this sink or do I need to replace the whole silver part..
Doesn't seem to have any thread around that bit in the middle for a new disc to go on..
If i have to replace it how do i get the existing one out?
Hi @Imz93,
It appears that your sink has a proprietary pop-up plug system, which differs from the standard push-down plugs commonly seen and pictured below. In your unit, there doesn’t appear to be a way to thread or attach a replacement disc, and there aren’t any off-the-shelf parts that will fit directly.
Given this, the most practical solution is likely to replace the entire waste assembly with a new one. Replacing a waste would be considered plumbing work requiring a licensed plumber.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
