I have 10mm aqualine gib for the upper parts of the walls.
From what I understand the hardiglaze is fixed to the framing now on top of gib like seratone
What I am wanting to know will the 6mm jointer fit the aqualine

Hello @ashdan
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about HardiGlaze and plasterboard.
If you are referring to the GIB Aqualine® 10x2400x1200mm - 2400mm (NZ), it will not fit into the James Hardie 6 x 2400mm PVC Hardiejointer as it is sized for 6mm panels which are the James Hardie HardieGlaze 2400 x 1200 x 6mm Tile Lining. Gib Aqualine is joined using standard jointing compound and reinforcing tape for the finished seam.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Thanks for that, I thought that was going to be the answer.
Can you fix the hardiglaze to gib or will it be too heavy? I have already bought the hardiglaze a while back, so wouldn’t he able to return it
Hello @ashdan
If you have not yet cut the HardiGlaze and they are still in good condition, please call the store where you purchased it from and speak to the customer service team in regards to returning them for a store credit. It would not hurt to ask especially if you are a regular customer at that store. I've looked into the installation manual and could not find a reference to the installation of Hardi Glaze to GIB Aqualine. I suggest giving the 0800 808 868 number a call for more technical information about non-standard installation.
Here is a handy link to the installation manual - Hardie-Glaze-Lining-Installation-Manual
