Yes I wanted to know if you could get a replacement flushing mechanism for older porcelain  caroma cistern

Hi @davidjw,

There are many styles of flush valves that have been used on Caroma cisterns in the past. Ideally, we would need to know the model of the cistern and, at a minimum, see the flush valve you are trying to replace. From there, we could look for a suitable replacement for you. Let me know if you need a hand uploading images.

I don’t know the model number or know how to find it – the label on side is faded ,maybe 30 years old ,porcelain.

Is the mechanism broken, or is it just leaking? If it's leaking, you might be able to replace the flush valve washer to fix it. Here's a helpful guide: How to fix a leaking toilet. 

Unfortunately, your flush valve does not appear to be similar to those that we stock. There are quite a few budget-friendly cisterns available, so you could consider replacing the whole cistern. The other alternative would be a full toilet suite upgrade. We have a handy Toilet Installation Offer that you might like to take advantage of.

yes will replace whole suite with installation offer ($275)

i would like him to replace 3 bathroom basin taps and spouts while here, what would it cost ?

Our Toilet Installation service includes the following as part of the $275- 

• Standard installation parts
• Removal and disposal of old toilet
• Installation of bowl and cistern
• Plumbing in of fresh water and waste outlet
• Sealing of toilet to floor
• Disposal of any rubbish caused by installation
• Clean up around the toilet

If you have other work that you would like the installer to carry out, this will need to be discussed and agreed upon, with payment made to the installer.

It would be best for you to speak with your local store's Special Orders team, as they will be able to put you in touch with local installers to discuss.
