Relocation of wastepipes on concrete Slab (Bathroom Reno)

Relocation of wastepipes on concrete Slab (Bathroom Reno)

I'm starting to do renovations on my laundry, toilet & 2 bathrooms.

Relocating and shifting the water inlets  is quite simple as I'll be taking down internal walls (re tiling the whole bathroom floor & walls) - thus a plumber can do this once I pull the walls down.

My concern is around the relocation of the waste pipes (40 -50mm) given I am on a concrete slab.

- Shower waste will stay as is

- Bathtub will be relocated (thus waste pipe needs to be moved)

- Vanity will be floating vanity & relocated

My understanding is I will need to cut the slab to re plumb the waste pipes, however I'm hoping I can cut a linear line from the new waste outlet on an angle of more than 12.5degrees (for fall), into the existing waste pipes (Yes I'll get a plumber to do the actual plumbing work), however I'd like to know whats involved.

Photos below for reference (Green Circles are proposed waste outlets, Blue Circles are existing waste pipes)

Cheers

Thanks @AshY

It might be better to imbed the images in your post as not everyone can access Photobucket. If you edit your post, then click the Insert image button on the text editor you should be able to add them to your post.

Thanks for updating those images @AshY. Much appreciated.

Hopefully community members with plumbing experience like @LePallet might be able to assist.

@AshY Check out

DIY Bathroom Renovations

It will be more of a case of installing new pvc Pipe and fittings  than trying

to connect to existing waste Pipes inside the bathroom

I suggest you leave it to a plumber

Hey mate,
I think you are looking into this too much, if you have organised a plumber then best thing to do is wait for him because there will be more than one way of doing this. This photo doesn’t show a lot, but there is no reason why he won’t Chanel a cut from the new to the existing and Just Connect into There, and obviously be concreted back up.
