How to create plastic cover for bike?

I want to create a lightweight cover for a bike.  I'm thinking of using black builders' plastic with a number of seams to get a good fit.

Wondering if something like the Grunt Builders Film Joining tape would last for the seams or if I should do a heat bond?

So, sorry. I should have thought of that @sps42. Here's the Weathershield Protective Bicycle Cover, which, as you mentioned, is quite budget-friendly.
