Re: Stools for new borns with grandfathers tools imbedded in to the bottom , and nan,s hand print

Hello @brendonford

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's superb having you join us, and thank you for sharing your beautiful handmade stools.

Putting the tools and hand print at the bottom of the chairs is a great way to remind the kids about grandpa and nan. Their shape and size are just perfect. What finish did you use on the stools and how did you etch their names onto the stool seat? Were the legs made from scratch or did they come from other chairs?

Again, thank you for sharing these very special stools.

Eric

Hi Eric

The legs were made with a Ozito router and lathe, names were stencilled into raw wood them coated with a cabots  floor seal ,
