Hi,
I've just replaced my kitchen tap spindles with new spindles and water is now gushing out.
Yes I appreciate they are different sizes, but as far as I could see, Basin spindles are now a lot bigger that what I had.
The house was built in 87 if that matters.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The new spindle specs:
The old spindle doesn't even screw in all the way, but does not leak.
Please ignore I was being a noob. I sorted it.
Hello @TJP
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your spindle.
It's good to hear that you got your tapware sorted. I was going to suggest that the ceramic spindle is made of two parts the spindle itself and the locking sleeve which you need to remove in order to install the spindle correctly. Good work in figuring out their assembly.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

G'day Eric,
I appreciate the reply.
Yes, you were most correct in saying that the spindle indeed needs to be disassembled first into two parts, before being seated in the tap body.
Take care,
T.
