How to seal and paint particle board?

Repairing an old kitchen on a budget. I need to repair and seal particleboard under the sink. Would Bondall Monocel All Purpose Timber Sealer do the job, and can you prime over the top of it, and top coat with enamel paint?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about sealing particle board in your kitchen sink.

It's great to hear that you've decided to repaint your kitchen. The Bondall 1L Monocel All Purpose Timber Sealer can be painted over once it has fully cured. I've double checked with the paint specialist at the store and the only other recommendation is to use an oil-based primer to match your enamel paint.

It sounds like a very interesting kitchen makeover. Would it be possible for you to post a photo of your kitchen while you are repainting it? I'm sure our members would be keen to see your progress.
