whats the best way to color match the architrave of the ceiling as I'm afraid the removing a paint chip will be too obvious.
Hi @eloise89,
If you’d rather not remove a paint chip, the best approach is to visit your local Bunnings and pick up several sample cards of white shades that look similar to your architrave colour. Bring them home and hold them against the architrave in natural light to find the closest match. Whites can vary a lot depending on lighting, so it’s often worth grabbing five or six similar tones. If you can’t get an exact match, consider repainting the whole architrave or section with the closest colour so it blends seamlessly. This is often less noticeable than trying to patch small areas with a slightly different shade.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you! Whattools would you recommend for this?
Hi @eloise89,
A quality sash cutter brush like this UNi-PRO 50mm You Can Do It Angled Sash Cutter Brush would be about all you need.
Let me know what you think.
