Hi all,
We have this flexistorage wardrobe. It's just not working for my kids rooms. How can i make it better adding more draws or anything?
They both have a chest of draws too but i would like to get rid of them to save some space in their small rooms.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @heidig,
Looks like it already has a set of drawer slides on the right.
Did you buy that 2nd hand without drawers?
Ask the workshop guys.

If you can purchase a set of drawers and if so also ask for drawer slides so you can install another set of drawers on the left.
You can then get rid of the other storage draws.
Cheers
Hello @heidig
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your Flexistorage wardrobe.
It appears to be a very deep wardrobe, were you after more shelves or were you looking to add drawers in the old location at the bottom-right? I believe it is possible to remove the hanging rail at the top, but if you wish to use it, then no shelves can be added into that space.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Hi Eric,
Thanks so much for your reply!
I'm not 100% what I'm after yet. I'm thinking drawers would be ideal. Perhaps even moving the hanger up higher to give room for more storage at the base.
Is there a way to make the wardrobe a bit more stirdy too?
I didn't know you could get more drawers so that's something i would be open to
Hi @heidig,
To make your wardrobe sturdier, you could add small metal angle brackets to the corners to increase rigidity, check that all fasteners are tightened correctly, and consider attaching the wardrobe to the wall to prevent wobbling.
For the drawers, moving the hanging rail higher will free up space at the bottom where you can install additional drawers or storage bins. This should help you replace the separate chests of drawers and make better use of the space in the room. You could perhaps even incorporate one of these Flexi Storage Home Solutions White 3 Mesh Basket Frame Kit - White into the unit.

Hello @heidig
I suggest getting a measuring tape and doing some preliminary measurement of the inside part of your wardrobe. The Flexi Storage Wardrobe 400mm White Matte 4 Drawer Unit you've mentioned is 817mm tall x 516mm wide and 400mm deep. It's possible that it might fit in the wardrobe, but I propose using your tape measure to see how much space it will occupy and how much space will be left behind once you install the drawer cabinet inside of it.
If you can give us the inside measurements of your wardrobe, we'll be able to tell you how much space the 4-drawer cabinet will occupy.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi @heidig,
Where in the wardrobe would you be looking to put it?
Is the idea that you would sit it on the shelf in the middle?
Are you happy to lose the hanging space in the middle?
Did you measure it to see what the internal dimensions are?
As long as that middle section is at least 817mm tall x 516mm wide x 400mm deep, then it would physically fit, although I wouldn't be so confident in the bottom shelf's ability to hold the weight of it when full.
If you wanted to place the drawers on that shelf, then you would need to reinforce the shelf with something like framing pine or angle brackets to ensure the weight can be supported.
Let me know what you think.
