Hi there,

how do we finish off the edges of this wall. We don’t want to wrap the Vj around the wall. We want it to just be the face of the wall.

Re: Vj panelling on free standing wall

Hi @samantha88,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

There are a number of ways you can do it, depending on the look you are going for, but the basic idea is you would add a trim on each end of the wall for the VJ panel to butt into. You would attach this trim to the wall using a combination of liquid nails and brad nails.

A simple 18x18mm Square Moulding, or 12 x 12mm Tri Quad would look good, or you could go a bit fancier and use something like this 12x12mm Ovolo.

Have a look at the different Timber Mouldings that are available. As long as they are thicker than the VJ panel, which is usually 9mm thick, then they should look good.

It might also be worth a trip to your local store for a bit of research; the indoor timber section has a fair few options to look through.

Let me know what you think, and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Jacob
