Hi Bunnings, we just moved into our new house and there is a cat door in our downstairs room, the door is timber. We would like to cover the hole permanently
, can you please advise a solution?
Hello @duane1977
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your door.
I suggest having a look at this guide - How to repair a hole in an internal door and this discussion - How to repair hole in internal door? by @MrCannotWeld. These are both great examples of how to repair a hole in your door. The general process is to use timber support pieces inside the hole, and you can then fill in the difference with filler. All the details are in the guide and discussion.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Let me also extend a very warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @duane1977.
Another option would be to replace the door. You might be surprised how affordable a new door is. Bunnings has a door installation service you can also take advantage of. Once you've selected your door, you can arrange for delivery and installation at the Special Order counter at your local store.
Hope that helps.

Hi @duane1977,
I would just cover with this:
