Looking to source untreated pine DAR.

Hey everyone! 

I’m new to DIY and starting my first project — a console table — but I’ve hit a snag and could really use some advice.

I’m looking for untreated pine (specifically DAR / kiln-dried pine) in the following sizes:
90 × 45 mm 140 × 19 mm

I’m in the Newcastle–Maitland area (NSW, Australia) and have had trouble finding untreated timber. If anyone can point me to timber yards, suppliers, or even stores that stock, I’d really appreciate it.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Our Maitland warehouse stocks the 140 x 19mm DAR Pine in a variety of lengths.

Unfortunately, they do not stock the 90 x 45mm Framing MGP10 Untreated Pine, nor do other stores in the area. However, I am sure they will be able to order some in for you. Just head in store and speak with the team at the Trade Desk. They will be able to source some untreated 90x45 on your behalf.
