I renovated our main lounge with wood moulding panels on the wall to create texture and movement. I then finished this off by hand painting a faux lime wash look using acrylic paint in a resene fossil and biscotti combo. To finish off the look, I added white sheer curtains to contribute to the dreamy and romantic aesthetic, creating a space that you never want to leave.
Bolection moulding in various widths, wood glue, resene paint 1/4 fossil and biscotti, I then diluted each of this down by eye with resene white to get the saturation level that I was happy with. Freedom white sheer S wave curtains.

1. I drew a blueprint of the mouldings after measuring out the room. I then taped up the dimensions with masking tape to ensure I was happy with it
2. After selecting the bolection mouldings I used an angle saw to cut the required measurements
3. Using the wood glue and pasledo braider I attached this to the wall, then filled and sanded before caulking the edges.
4. Using resene paint in biscotti and 1/4 fossil I added them to resene white to create the saturation level that I was happy with before painstakingly hand painting on 2 coats to create a faux lime wash effect.
5. installed sheet curtains

Your wainscoting looks fantastic, and the paint makes the room bright and inviting.
