Hi!
Do you sell
plastic foot chair tips similar to the ones for these Namco swivel chairs?
thanks!
Hi @LolaC,
I've just got to say that they are some absolutely fantastic chairs, but unfortunately, I can't find anything that's a great match for the chair tips.
The best solution I can think of is to use a piece of solid rubber such as this Moroday 15mm x 15mm x 2m Rubber Square. You could cut it to length and then use a utility knife to cut it to shape, ensuring you wear gloves and long protective clothing to reduce the risk of lacerations while doing so.
There may also be a way to cut a slot in the rubber so you can utilise this slotted section here to lock it in place.

Do you have any way to take off the old chair tips to see what they have done? This might help us work out a solution to replace the missing one.
Allow me to tag @Dave-1, @Noyade and @Nailbag to see if they have any ideas.
Let me know what you think.
Jacob
Hi @LolaC
My first thought was exactly the same as @JacobZ Bunnings have a range of sizes and thickness to potentially make for a quick solution.
Otherwise after a bit of research there are these options online that specialise in chair feet.

Good Evening @LolaC
Definently a retro styed seat and they look to be in very good condition!
I have a ships chair but the feet have worn away and I have run into the same type of issue as you. SO have been down the feet rubber aisle a LOT... Almost found parts but not yet ![]()
For you I have a few ideas.
- Vist Furniture Feet Tasmania and contact them. They sound keen on sourcing feet if they dont have it in stock. I had a look through for your type of feet but couldnt find anything.
- If you have a foot that you can remove (A photo would help us figure out a replacement) then we are on a good track.
- A 3D printed replacement. There are a lot of services around that can copy/make new plastic feet. The new prints are amazingly good and depending on the plastic that you get remarkably strong.
- Visit some second hand stores looking for the same style. You dont need a brand newie as you are just after a resonable foot.
- Use a few different types of off the shelf feet to make up a foot that suits. Such as
Croc Grip Extra Large Adhesive Rug And Mat Grippers - 4 Pack Cut to size and to be added to Jack 100 x 15mm Rubber Anti Vibration Squares - 4 Pack also cut to size, so the comression forces it up into to the channel.
or
Slipstick 50mm 2” Square Gripper Floor Protection Pads - 8 Pack and cut to size. It may be hard to make it look professional tho.
Cat Tongue 21cm Black Non-Abrasive Grip Tape Strips - 7 Pack maybe wrap around the end of the feet instead?
