Simple but effective VJ feature wall

When we moved into our new house, one of the bedrooms had this painted mural. The paint is so thick that painting over it just wouldn’t do, you’d still see the pattern.
VJ board is one of my favourite quick fixes!
So simple, but very effective

Re: Simple but effective VJ feature wall

Looks amazing kind of before and after.Great job. The VJ panels make the job so much easier. What did you fix them on with ? TIA .

Re: Simple but effective VJ feature wall

Hi @EricL @& @Mishmash

This one was a nail job. Used a paslode fixing gun. Super easy. Then stopped up the holes with some filler, a sand and then paint ☺️

Re: Simple but effective VJ feature wall

Aww thank you that’s helpful ☺️

Re: Simple but effective VJ feature wall

Hello @lucy10

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. Thank you for joining the discussion and sharing your query about the VJ feature wall.

Just to confirm the method of fixing @craftyhopper used a Paslode fixing gun. These types of guns fire pin nails of varying gauges, they are very effective in holding baseboards, crown molding including VJ panels. Are you planning on putting up your own VJ panels? Please keep us updated, I'm sure our members would love to see your project.
