Hi,
I have an old laundry which I am renovating to be a bedroom/home gym. I removed the floor tiles and old mortar which was applied on top of the concrete pad to build up the floor and create the fall for the laundry floor. I’m now stuck with needing to build up the floor approximately 30mm to align with the rest of the house. Can you please suggest a product that can be applied over the concrete to raise the floor 30mm and level it. Thanks, Dan.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @D-Raff. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about levelling a floor.
Most floor-levelling compounds are only suitable for layers up to about 25mm thick, but Sikafloor Level Pro can be applied up to 30mm, which is ideal for your situation. It will allow you to bring the floor up to height and get a smooth, even finish in one application. That’s the product I’d recommend using for your project.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
