D.I.Y. pool fence help and rescue

image.jpg

Hi,

we are doing our own frameless pool fence as fencing companies quotes us $5000 for labour only.

we have couple of issues.
1.  concrete is unlevelled and we realised that after installing 4 panels. How do we resolve this to ensure everything is in straight line ?

2. The glass panel is now stuck in the spigot. Any way to release this ?

Hey @blueyryan just wanted to ask what is meant by “tapping the towel”. Thanks for the valuable information. Really want this done :unhappy:

Re: D.I.Y. pool fence help and rescue

Some garden snips should work just fine for cutting the packers, just keep your fingers well clear as it will normally cut in an instant once you reach the right pressure. I just mean tape a towel on the glass panel either side of the one you're trying to lift out, to you ensure you don't damage them. Sometimes when people lift panels out, one side will pull out before the other, and crash into the panel next to it, either chipping or breaking the panel.
