Mobile herb and vegie trolley using pallets

I haven't had a vegie/herb garden for a long time. I just missed having having fresh herbs and vegies.

had some pallet timber that were in my shed, I got these from a pallet manufacturer, in my area about two to three years ago, they were very fresh and wet, then, now they have completely dried out and good to use for my project.

Trolley size, 110cm long x 54cm wide x 90cm overall height

Materials

Pallet timber  (free) for the planting boxes.

Merbau timber 70mm x 19mm, (pre oiled).

4 Castor wheels - 2 Braked and 2 Non braked.

Screws for mounting wheels

Polyurethane glue for the pre oiled merbau.

Screws for assembly.

Weedmat material for inside of boxes to protect the wooden boxes

Fixing clips for weed mat.

Tools

Router table for cutting box joints on pallet timber

Router for biscuit joining merbau timber.

Drill for assembly.

Mitre saw.

Various clamps.

Steps

Step 1

Pallet box size,520mm x 540mm x 200mm

Step 4

Cut the merbau timber for the trolley

Cut out biscuit joints.

Clamp all timber using polyurethane glue, I found that the wood glue wasn't suitable due to the pre oiled timber.

Re: Mobile herb and vegie trolley using pallets

Again I send out a massive thank you to you, @JoeAzza !

I didn't even know of the existence of Wellbond adhesive (Bunnings I/N 1210590)!  It works miracles!  An absolute must-have for any woodworkers!

Cheers 🤗 🤸‍
