Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about building a study table.
Depending on the size and complexity of your study table, it can be easily built such as the D.I.Y. home office desk using Beech panel by @vr_syd. This is an excellent example of an easy to build study table with four legs. It also shows you the materials and tools you need to build one. If you don't want to do any cutting you can purchase a timber panel such as the SpecRite 1200 x 600mm 18mm Timber Panel Okoume FJ Laminated which is the perfect size for a study table.
There are more choices when it comes to table legs so look carefully and take your time when choosing. If you have the space, the study table can be longer, and you can install more features such as a power board and USB charging hubs.
The general steps are to choose a timber panel that suits your needs. If it needs to be cut, you can use an ordinary hand saw or if you would like to invest in a tool you can get a circular saw. A drill would be handy when you need to drill holes or screw plates onto your timber panel. The last step would be to paint the table, and you can choose a clear sealer, or you can choose a coloured paint.
