Hey great minds!!
I'm laying laminate flooring. I have cut out the bottom of the door frames to slide the boards under, but I don't know how to click it in when it's on the left hand side. I can't raise the board up to click it in because it's under the door frame.
Do I have to cut the board and slide it in using 2 pieces?
I've attached pictures of what it looks like right now. It's not clicked in properly.
Well... I just whacked it heaps in various spots with the mallet and it eventually went in. Not looking forward to doing that in 3 more doors frames... But glad it worked out.
Hello @DIYmum2
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your laminate flooring.
I'm glad you found the solution to installing this particular board to your flooring set. I was going to suggest using your installation tool and placing it on the leading edge of the panel and whacking it from there. But tapping it from various locations is also a valid method as long as you don't hit the surface too hard. In regards to the other three, if part of the flooring panel is exposed you can use your installation tool to push the panel and lock it in place.
