The timber block in the picture has been glued to the floor by the previous owner. I want to have it removed and I'll need to replace the vinyl planks it is on.
Any advice on how to go about this? I'm in the process of trying to match the vinyl planks.
Hi @michellebrown,
You're going to want to grab a prybar with a bit of length to it. Something like this Craftright 600mm Heavy Duty Wrecking Bar should work.

Slip this end under the exposed end of the timber and lever it up. If it doesn't get any purchase, then you may need to change the angle of the prybar a bit or hit it with a hammer to drive it underneath.
Once it is under the timber, lever the prybar down to lift the timber. Work your way along the timber, and you should have it off in no time.
Let me know how you go and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
