What is the correct steps to repair this engineered timber floor plank? I noticed that there is kind of like bubbling or creases on the top coating of this engineered timber floor plank. I am not sure what causes it, it was installed less than 2 months ago. It probably was there since the beginning and I only noticed it recently.
I am thinking of sanding the creases off with a sand paper. If there is a space or gap after sanding, I am thinking of applying Timbermate otherwise if no gap I will leave it as is. But what is the next step? Do I have to apply a premier first? If so, which do I use? The original coating of this plank is called Treffert Matt Lacquer (I believe this is a water based coating). However, I cannot find this product at Bunnings. Which is the closest or compatible product I can use? Is it Cabot's Clear CFP Floor Water Based Matt? If wrong product, please advise.
To summarise the steps (please advise if incorrect).
Step 1: Sand with 120 grit (or higher number) sand paper;
Step 2: Apply premier (please advise if this step is necessary and which product? Prefer clear premier if any).
Step 3: Apply Cabot's CFP water based varnish. Does Bunnings have smaller size can? Is Cabot's Matt Water Based Cabothane suitable for this application?
I have attached several pictures of the top coating creases.
Thank you in advance.

Hello @redglue
Since your floor is only two months old, it should technically still be under warranty from the installer. If it is, I suggest contacting them and having them repair this section that appears to be damaged. Please do not attempt any type of repair while you are waiting for them as this will possibly void your warranty. It's also not advisable to mix and match sealers as the results are unpredictable. It's best to use the same product that was used on the floor for a uniform finish.
Generally speaking, a spot repair on a clear sealed floor is one of the most difficult repair processes you can undertake as the repair must be flawless, otherwise it will get seen all the time.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
