Re: How to seal holes in metal deck roof?

Hello @char81

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about sealing the gap on your roof.

I propose using Consolidated Alloys 75mm x 10m Weatherproof Byute Flash Flashing Tape. It's an all-purpose weatherproof sealing tape. Its uses include repairs to roofing, guttering, downpipe or water tank top, sealing joints around skylights, doors or adjoining building surfaces.

The tape is totally flexible and will fit into almost any shape or size. However, I suggest cleaning the surface of the roof with a bristle brush and detergent before you apply the tape. Please make sure that the area is totally dry before you apply the tape. The surface has to be dust free so that the tape will anchor properly.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
