Applied paint stripper to the top and scraped off the old varnish.

used my sander to remove old stain and get the top smooth starting with 80 grit up to 180 grit.

scuff sanded the entire piece.

used builders bog to fix any obvious signs of damage or wear and tear.

sanded the bog smooth.

taped off the top and sprayed 2 coats of primer to the legs and body of the table.

Re: upcycled hallway table

Hi @alanasfurniture,

What an incredible transformation — you've done an amazing job breathing new life into that hallway table! The attention to detail with the stencilling and wallpaper-lined drawers really takes it to the next level. It’s inspiring to see how a bit of creativity and the right tools can turn a free find into something truly stunning.

Thanks so much for sharing your project with the community!

Mitchell

Thank you so much, I usually flip pieces to sell on marketplace but this one was a true beauty which ended up staying in my own home to love forever.
