Hi!
Does anyone know if I can connect a garden hose to a washing machine tap? I cant connect it to the kitchen or bathroom taps so Im hoping to connect it to the cold waster washing machine outlet? Is there a connector of sorts?
Thank you!!
Hello @JPW1986
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your washing machine.
If you are connecting the inlet hose to your garden hose temporarily, I suggest attaching a Pope Universal Sprinkler Adaptor onto the washing machines inlet hose. On the condition that your garden hose has standard hose adapters such as the Holman 12mm Hose Connector or similar. You should be able to remove the garden hose gun by unclipping it and clipping the washing machine hose to the garden hose direct. My best advice is to make sure that the connections are firm but not overly tight. Make sure to use plumber's tape on the threaded section of the sprinkler adaptor.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

I dont need to connect the garden hose to the washing machine hose, but to the taps you connect the washing machine to. Does that make sense?
Hello @JPW1986
My apologies if I've misunderstood. Can we please request for a photo of the tap you are trying to connect to? This will give us a better idea of the connection points, and we'll be able to give you proper recommendations.
