Hi Bunnings Workshop community,
I’m trying to replace toilet flush valve and it seems it is stuck somewhere as I can’t undo it.
what do you think?
below is the photo of the flush.
thanks in advance
Hello @eegoos
If you look closer to the bottom of the flushing valve, you'll notice two black plastic clip on switches one on each side. I suggest investigating those clips and see if they either flip up or down to release the flushing valve.
However, if after several attempts and the clips will not release, I propose engaging the services of a plumber to repair your flushing valve.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
Thanks Eric.
will do.
What would be the replacement for this in Bunnings?
it has trickling water into the bowl and I have followed your steps to identify parts to be replaced, it is actually the rubber.
i just need to get into it first ![]()
thanks again
Hello @eegoos
It will be necessary to see the rubber washer underneath so that we can try to identify which seating washer it takes. At the moment I would not hazard a guess as I'm not too familiar with that particular flushing valve.
