That looks like a fascinating project @PeterH. I trust our avid boat fans would be thrilled if you shared some details about how you constructed it.
The boat was built some 35 years ago and now has been sold.
Me and a mate of mine built one each. It was a great lot of fun.
It took a couple of days for the to lay the fibre glass and resin, and several
more days to fit the deck etc.
It was a simple process, laying the glass fibre and then applying
the resin, and when it was done we did it all again about 4 times.
The coloured layer was the first layer laid.
The mold come borrowed from another mate.
We built the 2 boats because we were Scuba divers and needed transport
to Rotto and other coastal areas.
I'm now 76 years old and no longer dive.
