Ozito cordless battery compatibility

Hi.   I have just bought an Ozito 12v cordless drill.  Could I use the battery from that in an Ozito 18v Circular saw or other Ozito power tool.

I've contacted Ozito, and they have informed me that, unfortunately, due to its age, they no longer supply batteries that are compatible with that tool, which means you will have upgrade to one from the current generation of tools.

This Ozito PXC 18V 240mm Cordless Grass Trimmer 2.0Ah Kit PXCLTK-218 is on the current PXC battery platform, which means the batteries are compatible across the full range of PXC tools. Check out Ozito - PXC 18V Battery System for further details.

Hi @fino360 

Considering in Ozito's latest 18V system as @JacobZ recommends is going to be your best long term investment. However, there is a company in SA that can repack your battery with new ones for around $130.

Thanks i have seen a few you tube vids of people repacking the casings and believe i can get the battery's local so might have a go at that but for the moment just wanted a spare, thanks for the input cheers
