I gave our tired old kitchen cupboards a fresh new look with a bit of prep, paint, and some patience! Using @Bunnings-sourced tools and supplies, I sanded, primed, and painted the cabinetry, replaced the handles, and added a few styling touches to elevate the whole space — all on a budget.
It’s amazing how much difference a bit of elbow grease can make. Proof that you don’t need a full reno to completely transform your kitchen!

Hello @OurSweetRetreat
This kitchen upgrade is a wonderful example of how thoughtful DIY work can breathe new life into a space. The fresh coat of paint on the cabinetry brings a rich, earthy tone that pairs beautifully with the timber flooring and neutral accents. The updated handles and styling choices add a refined touch, while maintaining a welcoming, lived-in feel. It’s a skillfully executed refresh that showcases both creativity and care, proof that great results don’t always require a full renovation.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful project.
