Hi I need to move my sink plumbing 8 cm to the left. Can this be done and how ? see pic below ?
It's a job for a plumber @Savya01.
When you need a tradesperson to assist you, if you are in the Sydney metropolitan area you can utilise the Bunnings Services Marketplace. The service by TooEzi will match your job with suitable tradies in your area. Alternatively, you can use a site like Airtasker or hipages.
Thanks,
Jason
Hello @Savya01
Just a friendly reminder that any plumbing work that needs to be carried out must be done by a licensed plumber for safety and compliance.
This is an involved plumbing project with a lot of things to watch out for and adjust. Are you installing a new sink or are you still using the same sink? If you are installing a new sink, the height, width and length of the double bowl trap will need to be adjusted as your new sink will be in a different position. I'm afraid there are too many moving parts in this plumbing puzzle in order to be carried out as a D.I.Y. project. Although you are only moving it 8cm to the left, new sinks and new positions often provide extra unexpected surprises. An experienced plumber will be able to correctly adjust and modify your sink trap so that it lines up with your new sink. Plus, it will be covered under the plumber's warranty should there be any leaks. I recommend leaving this particular project to the professionals.
