I have some missing laminate spots on my kitchen cupboards, the parts that are lifted will be glued, then will be filled, sanded. I need the right paint to colour match my beige/cream cupboards. What paint is suitable? Can you show me the exact one, so I can go straight into bunnings and purchase. Thanks
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @rachypachy92. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about painting cabinetry.
For touching up laminated kitchen cupboards, I’d recommend looking at the Dulux Renovation range of cabinetry paints, which are suitable for kitchen cabinetry surfaces. For colour matching your beige or cream cupboards, you’ll need to bring a sample of the existing finish into the store. The team can try to analyse it with the colour-matching machine to give you a similar shade. Alternatively, you can take white colour cards home and compare them directly to your cupboards to find a match.
Keep in mind that getting an exact match on laminate can be tricky unless we can scan the existing finish. Depending on how much of the cabinetry needs touch-up, you might also consider painting all the cupboard doors to ensure a completely consistent colour across the kitchen.
Here's a helpful guide: Rejuvenate your cabinets with Dulux Paint.
