Revamped sideboard

Sanded back the top, painted the bottom half with grey chalk paint then finished off the entire cupboard with wax.

Good morning @Tywo

Yes! - I do very much like the "after". 👍

The top photo - 'Keep Calm' - no longer your motto?  😁

Cheers!

Re: Revamped sideboard

Great results @Tywo! You've really updated the sideboard to something much more on-trend. I'm sure you are delighted with the outcome.

How long did this project take you, and were there any difficulties or particular successes?

Many thanks for sharing.

Hi @Noyade

Thank you, I’m loving it too.

“Keep calm” is still my motto though I’ve moved it to the garden 😊

Re: Revamped sideboard

Hi Mitchell,

It only took a couple of days. I love the chalk paint as I didn’t have to sand the entire unit back, just a light sand on the doors and body and a complete sand of the top.
