Dining room table refinished

It was a dark timber table with many scratches and glue on it from the kids. Decided to strip back the many layers of stain and sand back to natural. Then sprayed  clear lacquer on it to protect. Love the new look with 4 brand new chairs

Re: Stripping and refinishing if dining room table

Hello @kgrace5

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your revamped dining room table.

What a stunning transformation, this table revamp is genuinely impressive. Stripping away the dark stain has brought out the natural warmth and grain of the timber beautifully, giving the piece a fresh, inviting character that perfectly complements the space. The clear lacquer finish adds just the right amount of sheen while preserving that authentic timber texture. Paired with the new cross-back chairs, the entire setting feels light, elegant, and full of charm. It’s the kind of refresh that doesn’t just rescue a well-used piece it elevates the whole room. You’ve managed to blend rustic warmth with refined style effortlessly.

Again, thank you for sharing this wonderful project.

Eric
