How to dress up a pelmet

49EFC4DC-916C-4E68-9AB2-15C2C9A06DAD.jpegHow simple. All I did was remove the pelmet to make it easier to work with.

Then I hot glued macrame cord to it.

Re: How to dress up a pelmet

Hi @RenoSal,

That's a fabulous way to add some interest to a pelmet. Was this part of a whole room styling or just to add a bit of pizazz? Do you think a similar technique could be used on the wall unit of a split system air conditioner? The plastic often turns yellow over time, and this would a great way to cover that up. Obviously, you'd need to avoid covering any sensors, vents and buttons, but apart from that, I can't see why not.

Many thanks for sharing.

Mitchell

Re: How to dress up a pelmet

Hi Mitchel, yes it’s part of my Boho teenage retreat bedroom.

i don’t see why you couldn’t dress up an old aircon but as you’ve written, you need to avoid covering vents etc..
