Hi all, I've a big mirror 150cmx87cm that I would like to hang on a plasterboard wall, I would like to have a 20cm gap from the floor, the challenge is the mirror doesn't have a frame or hooks, I was thinking to use Selleys 290ml Liquid Nails Extreme Grab Construction Adhesive https://www.bunnings.com.au/selleys-290ml-liquid-nails-extreme-grab-construction-adhesive_p0026025
Apply plenty of it to the back of the mirror to cover almost every part of it and then push it against the wall. Is this a good idea and will this glue be sufficient to hold it?

For a mirror like yours @ososbg, the best option is to use a product specifically designed for mirrors, such as Selleys Liquid Nails Mirror, Metal & Glass Adhesive. Your idea of using a strong construction adhesive might work in principle, but mirror-specific adhesive is safer for the glass and less likely to cause damage over time.
You don’t need to cover the entire back of the mirror with adhesive. A continuous bead around the perimeter, plus some dabs across the surface every 10 cm or so, is enough. The key is making sure the mirror is supported while the adhesive cures, because even a strong adhesive won’t hold the full weight immediately. You’ll need something underneath at the 200 mm height to bear the weight, and heavy-duty tape or double-sided tape across sections of the back to help hold it in position against the wall. You might also consider a diagonal brace or prop for extra security while it sets.
Mirrors are fragile, so make sure you have a helper to position it safely. Wear cut-resistant gloves, long sleeves, trousers, enclosed footwear, and eye protection while handling it. Once it’s in position and properly supported, allow the adhesive to cure fully before removing the supports.
