This metal table appears to be losing its top layer and leaving a white mark underneath? I’m just wondering how I go about restoring it? I’m not fussed about keeping it this exact colour so wondering if there’s some kind of metal stain or paint I can use to just cover it up? Any ideas and help is hugely appreciated!!
Hello @charlottefoth98
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your metal table.
I understand that your table has metal legs and metal circular supports. Would it be possible for you to double check the material your tabletop is made of? It appears to be ceramic at first glance, but please let me know if I am wrong. Would it also be possible for you to post a photo of the bottom of the table?
While we are waiting for your confirmation, I would suggest doing some basic cleaning steps such as washing the surface with water and detergent in combination with a Mr Clean Handheld Iron Scrub Brush. This should clean the surface very well and remove the white deposits on the surface. Once you've verified the material of the tabletop, we'll be able to offer recommendations on how to proceed.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
