Price of discarded road side coffee table $0
Paint, primer, sandpaper and stain from Bunnings: $30
Husbands enjoyment at having to by a new sander: Priceless!
I found a very unloved and slightly battered pine (?) coffee table on the side of the road and decided to try to revive it. Husband decided it needed the 'good stuff' and we went to Bunnings and spent 20 minutes deciding which sander would be best. In the end we chose 2! Both from the Ozito range.
3 days, lots of elbow grease and some trial and error later and this is the finished product! I also seem to have caught the bug to do more and am currently sanding another road side find!
Well done @DanaR. It looks fantastic.
Let me also extend a warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community.
We look forward to seeing the next project you're working on, and many more to come. Please let us know if you ever need a hand. We're here to help.
Thanks Stevie! I have definitely caught the restoration bug and have another roadside find underway!
VERY nice DanaR !!! I love it. Can't get enough of the white base and varnished top. It's timeless
