How to change a washer in a double laundry tap?

We purchased these taps from Bunnings about 6 months ago. Now the outlet over the tub is dripping.  There are no leaks any where, just over the tub. How do I fix this?

Re: How to change a washer in a double laundry tap?

Hi @Cedes,

As I linked in the original post, these Kinetic Washing Machine Conversion Kit Washers would be the correct replacement. Since these are brand new taps, I'd suggest speaking with the team in-store about providing the replacement washer free of charge. Please take your proof of purchase for the taps in with you.

Hello @mortalxwombat

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us.

I suspect that this unit operates differently than the Shaw & Mason Chrome Universal Washing Machine Conversion Kit. The only item I can see that can be changed are the O rings. I propose having a look at the Kinetic Assorted Sizes O Ring Kit along with the Kinetic 15g Tap Lubricant. These two items often go hand in hand when repairing tapware.

However, if the tap is from Bunnings and is less than one year old, it is technically under warranty. If you can find your docket or present proof of purchase the store will exchange it for a new one. But if its not from Bunnings, you'll need to speak to the store you purchased it from.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
