I am trying to connect my heat pump dryer to my existing laundry plumbing.
The connections marked appear to have plastic preventing them from being used.
Can I drill the plastic and use one of these connections for a heat pump dryer ?
Hello @Cross6
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your heat pump dryer.
In regards to your question about drilling into the plastic nipple, yes you can. In fact, that is the proper procedure to enable you to use it as drain point for your dryer. I suggest having a look at this guide - How to connect a dishwasher (the techniques used are applicable to your project). My best advice is to double check all your connections to make sure there will be no leaks.
