How to remove faucet to replace?

1000028762.jpg

Hi guys, any idea how to remove these faucets? I need to replace with a longer version. The handle/knob removes with the screw but talking about the whole spout. Taking a stab do I need to try rotate/screw off the hex nut-looking part at the base? Thank you!

Re: How to remove faucet to replace

Hello @Melissa4

Before you remove your taps and replace them, please make sure that the mains water tap outside your house has been turned off. Please make sure to turn the tap on to depressurize the plumbing system. I suggest using a Craftright 250mm Adjustable Wrench on the back of the tap and turning them anti-clockwise to remove from the wall. Please make sure to put on plumber's tape before attaching the new tap on the brass wall fitting.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
