Hi,
May I ask guidance on how I can replace my bath tub spout with a new spout with diverter?
Can this spout be easily removed? how?
I plan to replace it with this new spout with diverter, where I can attach dog shower attachment.
I just need to check if this will fit/compatible with the existing fitments.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @will25. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about bath spouts.
In most cases, bath spouts like yours simply unscrew in an anti-clockwise direction. You might need to use multigrip pliers to get a firm grip. Once removed, you should see a threaded connection coming from the wall.
Most bath spouts in Australia use a fairly standard ½ inch BSP (British Standard Pipe) thread, so you shouldn’t have any issues installing your new spout. Just make sure to use thread seal tape (Teflon tape) on the pipe thread to ensure a watertight fit.
That said, it's important to note that depending on your location and the specific work involved, this could be considered plumbing work that legally requires a licensed plumber.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

@MitchellMc Thank you, Mate!
went to bunnings to get the new spout w/ diverter and got down to work!
using a multigrip plier, turning the old spout anti-clockwise was a bit tricky and have dented the chrome but got it out.
I just wrapped the new spout with a dry towel to screw it in, to avoid denting the chrome.
thanks for your support! cheers!
