I need help securely attaching four IKEA PAX cabinets to a plasterboard wall that has skirtings at the bottom.
I damaged the MDF while fixing this screw. What’s the best way to repair it and properly attach the screw cap?

Hello @RK07
It's great that you've received excellent advice from @AlanM52. I also suggest contacting the manufacturer of your cabinets to get the suggested method of anchoring their cabinets to a plasterboard wall. Is the screw part of the assembly method of the cabinet? I'm sorry but I am not familiar with its assembly, I suggest asking the manufacturer about this part as well.
Generally speaking, floor standing cabinets are attached to the studs of the wall and not on the plaster itself. But if the studs are out of place, it will be necessary to use a timber piece that is screwed onto the studs which the cabinets can then be screwed onto.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

I searched IKEA for wall bracket stuff but no results.
