Built a dartboard case from pallets

Dartboard cupboard built from a pallet sourced in Bunnings dock.

Cut down to size and sanded glued and screwed together.

Have my 11yr old son starting to love the making of stuff from recycled timber rather than buying new.

That is an outstanding use of free timber pallets! As someone that is fascinated with their repurposing, I'm thrilled to see what you have achieved. Your son has done an amazing job, and I trust you are very proud of his efforts.

On a side note, did you know 140,000 tonnes of waste wood pallets and crates are sent to landfills in Sydney alone each year? That's a staggering amount of usable timber going to waste. I think it's great that our stores make them available to the public and I'm pleased to see them being put to good use.
